Hello 😄 ,

Today, we kindly ask you to fill in this survey to register officially for your participation on the ERN-LUNG Board Meeting 2026. We need this information for planning reasons (e.g. on day 2 there will be several meetings of the Core Networks in parallel and we need to know how many rooms will be needed for how many persons, etc.).

Please provide your feedback via the survey about your participation as soon as possible, but not later than the 10th of March 2026. Please also do so, even if you cannot attend. It helps to keep you no longer involved in follow ups on meeting relevant requests/contacts you do not need.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Best regards
Thazhone Stephy on behalf of the ERN-Lung Network Coordination Team

Participation in group meeting of Core Networks and Comments

On the second day of the meeting (24th  of March ) in the morning there will be sessions with several parallel meetings of the Core Networks.

Please indicate below which of the Core Network meetings you would like to join in the morning on the 24th of March.

Contents of these parallel meetings will be organized by the different sub-groups themselves. Each Core Network has a Core Network Leader who is responsible for the Core Network. If he/she is not able to come to the meeting, he/she should appoint a deputy for this task.

We need to know the number of people for each Core Network meeting in order to provide suitable rooms for each group.
  • Some of the registered persons belong to more than one Core Network. Please decide, though, which meeting you would like to attend.
  • It might happen that for some of the smaller Core Networks there will only be a small group of 2 or 3 people. There will also be a room for you or the cafeteria next to the meeting venue where you can meet. We will let you know in advance.
3. On 24th of March, I would like to join the following of the parallel Core Network meetings

The Hôpital Bicêtre (address: 63 Rue Gabriel Péri, 94275 Le Kremlin-Bicêtre, Paris, France) has its own metro station, called “Hôpital Bicêtre” (Metro line number 14). The hospital is located close (9.6 kms) to Paris Orly Airport, directly accessible by Metro line number 14. It is further (26.1 kms) from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and also accessible by transportation: RER B to Châtelet-Les Halles, then Metro line number 14 to Hôpital Bicêtre. The main railway stations are Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est, for both it is necessary to change in Châtelet-Les Halles to get on Metro line number 14.

🏨Accommodation

We recommend the following five hotels for your accommodation, but you are welcome to book any other option.

The first four hotels are close to the “Place d’Italie” metro station (line number 7), from which you have to go to “Maison Blanche” station to get to Hôpital Bicêtre (line number 14). The fourth hotel is close to “Maison Blanche” station (line number 14). All options last 30 minutes maximum, walking time inclusive.

Please be aware that the EU allows us to reimburse up to 166,00 € per night (breakfast included).
Please be also aware that the sooner you book, the more likely you are to get a room in your chosen hotel. However, we observed last year that prices can go up if you book closer to the event.

If you are more used to booking platforms like booking.com, you can also use those of course.

Cancellation conditions are different from one case to another, please chose the option which corresponds to your needs (in terms of probability of cancellation).

💸 Reimbursement

Please be aware, that only one person from each HCP (ERN-LUNG membership required) can claim for reimbursement. Supporting Partners and members, and Affiliated members are not eligible for reimbursement. As for patient representatives, they are all eligible for reimbursement.

Please be advised that the reimbursement process involves following steps:

1) You will have to pay your travel/hotel costs (=100%). Please ensure to get receipts of the costs accordingly. Please note that unit costs as set by the EC, rather than actual costs, will be reimbursed. We advise that you check your eligible reimbursement using the information below before booking any travel.
The reimbursed unit costs are calculated as follows:

2) After the meeting, you will be sent the "Travel Expense Reimbursement Sheet" to complete with your travel and bank details and sign for confirmation. Receipts will not need to be submitted with the “Travel Expense Reimbursement Sheet", but do please hold on to these, in case they are required in the future for audit purposes.
